Arabic and Hebrew translations of the Rainbow Christ Prayer are being posted simultaneously at Q Spirit to show support for LGBTQ people affected by the recent violence in Israel and Gaza. The prayer shows the many faces of the queer Christ.
Colors of the LGBTQ rainbow flag reveal the many faces of the queer Christ in the Rainbow Christ Prayer by lesbian Christian author Kittredge Cherry and gay theologian Patrick S. Cheng. Rainbow Christ, you embody all the colors of the world. Inspire us to celebrate each color of the rainbow!
قوس قزح المسيح، أنت تجسد كل ألوان العالم. ألهمنا للاحتفال بكل لون من ألوان قوس قزح!
Red gives us life. Self-Loving Christ, you are our Root.
الأحمر يعطينا الحياة. المسيح المحب لذاته، أنت أصلنا.
Orange stirs our passion. Erotic Christ, you are our Fire.
البرتقال يثير شغفنا. المسيح المثير، أنت نارنا.
Yellow awakens our courage. Out Christ, you are our Core.
